William Blake

All drawing artist and poets have their own techniques and writing styles. William Blake's poetry contains repetition creating a sense of reinforcement and stubbornness that reflects his observations during his life. As for his art William began his technique at the age 10, he studied engraving and grew to love gothic art which he incorporated into his own unique spiritual work. He was born in a small town called Golden Square in London, England. He was the third of six children, two whom died in infancy. Both parents James and Catherine were very much involved in his life. His father James was an hosier who sold stockings and gloves. Williams mother was a stay at home mom. As for his siblings Robert, James and Catherine. The children grew older and attended public school although William only attended briefly because at the age 4 he had a vision of angles who came to him letting him know that God was watching over him.1 William mentioned this to his parents and they decided it was best for him to be educated at home by his mother, so there wouldn't be rude talk about their son who seemed to be able to see something they couldn't. The Bible had an early profound influence, to being home schooled by his mother and it would continue to remain a lifetime source of inspitation in his life and with intense spitituality.
