In the story Lord of The Flies, by William Golding, it takes place on an island where many boys were stranded. They were on a plane that crashed leaving no parents or guardians to be seen. On the island it started out with 25 boys and ended with 22. The four main characters were Piggy, Ralph, Simon, and Jack. These boy’s were the main leaders to the tribe the boys formed. This was a tropical island and the ability to get food was an everyday struggle. Because it was a tropical island, there was a lot of fruit, but the fruit would cause many tummy aches because of the acids in it. The boys would have to hunt for their food and hope they would catch a pig for meat. They started with a full set of clothes, but day by day they would start to wear down. …show more content…

He would be satisfied because he feels that if you give someone too much, they will take advantage of it.
