At first glance, Playwright William Shakespeare was not the first person you would guess for greatness. Surprisingly, he was not born to a family of nobility or wealth. He did not continue his education at a university after school, nor did he get taught by a senior and experienced artist. Furthermore, he did not marry into prestige or wealth. In summary, Shakespeare was a genuinely talented actor and playwright, who got fame without having the starring roles in plays.
Shakespeare was 18 years old. Together they had three children. Their names Were Susanna, Hamnet and Judith were twins. Their first child was Susanna who was born six months after their wedding, Then Hamnet and Judith were born in January, 1585. They were fraternal twins.

He was the third of the eight children born to John Shakespeare and Mary Arden, daughter of the wealthy landowner. Williams father was a glove maker, a grain dealer, and served in various civic offices as a member of town council. Later he married a local girl Anne Hathaway and moved in together.

Although there is much debate on whether or not William Shakespeare is the true author of his plays, the fact remains that he is the true author. Even if he weren't, it wouldn't change the fact that the plays are still meaningful and should be studied. For this reason, this debate isn’t incredibly important, but it should still be considered in order to reveal truth. A common theory is that the true author of the stories of Shakespeare is Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford. De Vere, however, died in 1604.1 The Tempest, however, is estimated by multiple educational sources including Sparknotes, Encyclopedia Britannica, and Shmoop to have been written between 1610 and 1611.2, 3, 4 If this estimation is correct, there is no way de Vere could have written The Tempest.
To this day Shakespeare’s personal history has remained a mystery. It was believed that he was born on April 23, 1564 what we call Shakespeare’s “birthday”. Shakespeare was the third child of John Shakespeare and Mary Arden and had two older sister, Joan and Judith and also had three younger brothers Gilbert, Richard, and Edmund. William and Anne’s relationship was difficult and the couple was not close as William worked in London, which made harder. In 1592 there is evidence that Shakespeare earned a living as an actor and playwright in London and possibly had some plays produced.
1. Who Were the Actors? He was born to John Shakespeare in a small town, Stratford-Upon-Avon, which was his family home in England (Rothwell 12). His birthday is assumed to be on April 23rd because, according to this period, newborn babies received baptism three days after birth. The historical documents indicate that his baptism occurred on April 26th, 1564.
