William Shakespeare is considered one of the most legendary playwrights and actors of his time period and also to this day. The tragedies he encountered in his life not only influenced his writings but also influenced literature in modern culture.
William Shakespeare birth date is not known, but he was baptized on April 26, in
Stratford-upon-Avon. His parents are John and Mary Shakespeare. He had three younger brothers and two younger sisters: Gilburt, Richard, and Edmund, Anne, and Joan. His father was a successful leatherworker in which he became a leading Stratford citizen and his mother came from a prominent family in Stratford.
