William Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright, and actor. He is most famously known for his works such as Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet [Eww.] The Tempest, and Julius Caesar. William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564, and died on April 23, 1616, in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. He grew up in Tudor England in the time of Queen Elizabeth I. He was married at 18, to Anne Hathaway, and the couple had 3 kids over the year they spent together. The children later died though. He attended school at Stratford’s grammar school. It’s curriculum mostly consisted of intense emphasis on memorizing, writing, and acting classic Latin plays. He probably attended until he was about 15.
A few years after he left school, William married Anne Hathaway. William was 18 while Anne was 26. [I bet their relationship was……interesting?] They had 3 kids, twins by the name of Judith and Hamnet. While Anne was already expecting another child when they got married.
