William shakespeare is regarded by many as one the greatest English poets of his time to ever grace the stage. He revolutionilized the way directors and authors make stories for us with his creative genius, his creativeness and imagination was limitless.

He wrote one hundred and fifty four sonnets, thirty eight plays and 2 breathtaking poems during his era as a poet, playwright, and actor. It is unknown exactly when he was born but many believe that he was born on the 23rd of April 1564, Stratford-upon-avon in the United Kingdom. He was baptized 3 days later on the 26th of April in the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon. These were also known as Tragedy’s and they were the highlight of William Shakespeare’s career as a storyteller. One of his most famous Tragedies was called Macbeth where he challenged the views of society back then and how they viewed men and women. He introduced many different universal themes in his tragedies that involved love, pride, power, family, politics, and gender roles.

He worked as an actor for the Lord chamberlain’s men which at that time was a acting company in London. After the King James I was crowned King of England, the company changed its name to the King’s men.

After that the company took off into becoming one of the most popular companies in England with Shakespeare creating two of his first unique poems called “Venus and Adonis” in 1593 and “The rape of Lucrece” in 1594.

He was also known for making investments and being a very good Entrepreneur, by 1605 he made investments by purchasing leases of real estate near Stratford for 440 pounds. All of which doubled in value making him 60 pounds a year which his life easier by having time to write his plays uninterrupted.
