This research is going to be about shakespeare’s soliloquy and literary work. Hamlet from shakespeare has many famous soliloquy lines that has meanings to it. Many of his lines consist of syllable such as, iambic, trochaic, and the spondaic. In the plays the actors and actresses mostly speak in verse, which has rules of its own. Poetry shares many quality with music. One thing about Hamlet is that he will never emerge the wrong answer he poses. Shakespeare was known for his famous plays and sonnets. A lot of people wonder what is so special about his plays that pulls people to watch and listen. He wanted a clean cut play so he avoided explicit didacticism. He made it very clear for his commentators to understand what his plays mean. The reason why Shakespeare is so familiar with American Culture is because we know so little about him. Shakespeare’s play consist of fundamental themes of life. No one has written as much plays at once so poetic comprehensive in subject and tone. In a soliloquy the speaker is talking to him or herself. Soliloquy reveals the innermost thoughts of a character in a play. Background story of Hamlet, he was the prince of Denmark and his dad had died. Hamlet had multiple famous lines in Shakespeare. There is many ways to speak and paraphrase his lines. His first soliloquy was wish for death “to live or not to live”. Hamlet’s most famous line was “to be or not to be”. To be means “to act, to live fully” and not to be means “to sleep and feed more”. That line was spoken passionately and powered by emotion. Some of these soliloquy considers the fact that suicide is a disgrace, it is not a noble thought.
