William Shakespeare was born April 23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon. It is believed that he attended grammar school in Stratford, but there are no records of him attending school which raised some controversy. Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway when he was 18 and she was 26. He had three children, Susanna, Hamnet and Judith.
