William Shakespeare acted in plays at the Old globe theatre. William Shakespeare had a stake holding in the Globe Theatre and also acted in some of the productions of the plays. No one is sure how many of the plays that he actually acted in but he wrote the plays and wanted to play the characters. He was a pretty well rounded individual.
