Research Paper I chose Shakespeare's Sonnets for my research papers because it is a topic I am kind of interested in. These Sonnets are mainly about the value of human relationships. William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1556, he was born in Stratford-upon-avon, United Kingdom, according to biography.com. He was the third child of eight children, it was believed that shakespeare died on April 23, 1616, which means that he died on his birthday. Shakespeare then writes about the bubonic plague and of how it killed about fifty percent of the population, the plague caused the theatre to close due to the fact that the plague spread quick and easy. Then after five years of the occurrence of the plague, the theatre reopened because the plague was not as bad as it was in the past years. In 1957, Shakespeare bought a house thanks to his career that paid him well, his home was the second biggest home in the city of Stratford. By 1598, Shakespeare had become a noted playwright with at least a dozen plays written. In 1601, Shakespeare's father died, his father's death motivated him to be successful in his career over the next few years. By 1609, all 154 sonnets were published.
