William Shakespeare was an English poet, actor and playwright who brought inspirations to many people who are writers today. Shakespeare was not only a poet but also wrote books and plays which many people enjoyed. He brought new words and meanings to our English language and showed he’s audience and readers the emotions of a story or play as well on how his life might have been during his times. William Shakespeare work had been a great historic author in English and has been enjoyed by many people of his time and today. William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. One year after his poem, Venus and Adonis was published by Richard Field. (London theatre, n.d., para.2) Within a few decades Shakespeare started to get more famous in the London theatre by his work. In 1597 one of Shakespeare’s famous story was published Romeo and Juliet by this time he had 15 plays published out of the 37 he had written (Shakespeare bio, n.d., Establishing himself). In 1599 the Globe Theatre was built by Shakespeare and he’s business partners. The work he had done was history, comedy. Tragedy and Tragicomedies. In early 1590’s, Romeo and Juliet was most known of one of his written histories Richard II and Henry VI, Henry V was interpreted by drama historians. Some of the many comedies he had written are A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Merchants of Venice and Much Ado About Nothing.
