William Wilson is a horror story written by Edgar Allan Poe. The story started with the narrator introducing himself with his fake name----William Wilson. He said his real name would stain the “purity of the white paper he wrote upon.” He’s telling us the tale of his complete turn to evil. During his childhood, he attended school in a large Elizabeth house in England. He described his school as a “gothic prison” with a cruel principal who enforced strict rules with severe punishments. In this school he met a boy. The boy had the same age, attended school on the same date, had the same name and looked exactly same as the narrator.
