1.One of the elements that made us think that willie nelson was considered progressive country was the way he dressed. Willie Nelson often wore his hair in long braids and performed while wearing t-shirts with normal pants. Another element was the fact that many country singers were coming from Nashville and had a particular country sound while willie nelson music sounded like contemporary rock. The last element that made us think that willie nelson was considered progressive country was the fact that most of his music sounded like he was telling you a story rather than a song. 2.Reggae became popular in 1970’s by the Rastafarian movement.
