Winchester Mystery House-Personal Narrative

During a tour of the infamous Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California, two adventurous teens get separated from the group and find themselves locked in the house overnight.

“Joey! Joey!!! Where are you, I’m scared,” I said as I search through the dark haunted house that Joey and I are now locked in.

I run in circles scared out of my mind, wondering where Joey is. So I stop and think for a minute, I will never find Joey just hiding in this room. So I take a giant breath and walk out of the dusty dark room and into the main foyer. I see the main door, but I know its locked. The foyer has big panes of glass next to the door, so it brings in a blue light, that gives me the creeps. I turn to my left and see a darkened room, I walk slowly step by step into the room. I began to give up then I felt a switch, so I flicked it. Dull lights brightened the room up a bit, but then the doors closed and a secret entrance in the wall appeared. I ran pushing Joey to run faster- running as fast as we could through the room with the dead cat, into the foyer. We stopped quickly to find a way to go, we saw stairs so we scrambled up them. We were halfway up them when we spotted the axe man. I paused for a second terrified, but we had to keep on running, but the axe man threw his axe and caught Joey's shirt. He was stuck, I tried to help him, but with the axe guy ten step away I ran up stairs and escaped. I hid behind boxes, watching this dilemma take place.
