They are madly in love, but their family members prohibit them from establishing an easy relationship. Romeo, the male teenager, is the one who starts the relationship between the two. When in a relationship individuals will make decisions that are foolish, to sustain and keep their relationships alive. Romeo and Juliet are two prime examples of individuals who make foolish decisions; Juliet was willing to never see her family again, or to even die rather than not being able to be with Romeo. These characters embody the human craving to live within a committed relationship, although their want to live within a relationship leads them towards their inevitable deaths. Individuals fawning to live within a committed relationship will cause individuals to take part in foolish actions just to live within their relationships. All individuals are in control of their actions, but some actions will consequently damage
The main message of Romeo and Juliet is that decisions that are made solely on emotions can have tragic results and that thinking rationally before making decisions can result in better outcomes. Humans, as a species in general, tend to blame people for their own wrong doings. For example, when a lamp breaks, they blame the cat, or their younger sister, even though the cat had nothing to do with it. It goes the same for Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet’s death is caused by flaw because they were not communicative, made selfish decisions and only thought about themselves, and did not think before they acted and made hasty, rash decisions. First, Romeo and Juliet were not communicative.

Fate vs. Bad Decisions As a human kind we have focused nearly all of our efforts on one question, what ultimately decides our destiny? Throughout history religions have formed, scientists have devoted their lives, and many stories have been told regarding fate; one such story is Romeo and Juliet, which is regarded as one of the best written texts known to man. In Romeo and Juliet two star crossed lovers, born into rival families, fall in love, and through a series of unfortunate events meet their demise. Some people claim that the message Shakespeare was trying to convey is that our life is governed by fate, others believe that the message is that our future is determined by the choices that we make in our lives; while arguments can be made for both sides, it is more conceivable that it is both a mixture of fate and our decisions that determines our ultimate destiny.
