wonder The book Wonder is a good book for all ages to read and to enjoy. This book has a good meaning to it, the meaning that I got out of it was to not judge a book by its cover. R. J. Palacio published a 404 page book called wonder in February, 14 2012. This book was the number one new york times best seller. R. J. Palacio was born in 1963 she has written 7 books that are about August and the things he has done. August Pullman was born with a facial deformity that prevented him from going to school until now when August’s parents decided that it would be a good for him to go to this school called Beecher Prep. This book tells you about the journey that August Pullman has going to middle school for the first time. R.J. Palacio wrote and tells this story. The point of view for this story is first person R.J. Palacio gives us different angles from each person in the book. This book is a lighthearted book that is fun for all ages to read. The main characters are August, Via, Mom, Dad, Summer, Jack will, Julian, Christopher, Zachary, Alex, and Charlotte. I think the tone of this book is hopeful and that even tho you aren't there yet you will reach your goals and bullying can hurt someone. August has never been to school before because he has facial deformity that causes him to stay home. One day his parents decided it would be good for him to go to school but he was not sure how everyone at the school would react to how he looked.
