There was always a quiet expectation in my family that I would eventually attend Madison. Mentioning other colleges was often met with an eye roll and a semi-serious assertion that I was going to Wisconsin. With three of my siblings as well as numerous cousins and family friends attending, it was fairly predictable that I was going to apply to Madison also. I ignored them and decided to research which colleges would fit me the best, not which college the Woolley’s historically have attended.
