“Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.” This is what Kevin Durant, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, who is replete with athleticism, said when asked about his talent and work ethic. Some people are lucky enough to be born with a natural talent, and some are lucky enough to be born with an unbeatable work ethic. Now it’s when someone is born with both is when that person is in the luckiest situation possible. But having both is not everything. You need to know and learn how to use both for the best possible outcome. So if you have a natural talent but put no effort into making your talent better, you have failed. Maybe even contemptuous of? We all have those great athletes or people that we look up to. People like Mozart and Einstein. How great were Mozart and Einstein? Both of them have have the greatest talents and work ethics of all time. “We all know that Mozart was a child prodigy, while Albert Einstein was good only at math in school later became the world’s smartest person. Also, consider Tiger Woods who started playing golf when he was 18 months old before becoming famous in sports at the age of 18. Does he have a talent? Undoubtedly. Did he practice hard for almost two decades to be seen as talented? Definitely”. Some people are just plain old born with a talent like mozart and that some people that are born with a good work ethic instead. You look at a man like mozart and think about how lucky he was to be born with a brain like his to the point where he can write music so well. Also the same thing with Einstein and how good he was at math. The only difference between them was that Einstein probably put in more effort to become smarter than Mozart did to get better at music. I don't want to make this sound bad, but Mozart was lazy. He took advantage of his natural born talent and didn't go anywhere with it. He put no effort into it, he could have been an even bigger prodigy if he worked for
