Have you ever had to go to bed hungry because your parent or parents could not afford to feed you? If not, could you imagine yourself going to bed hungry? Unfortunately there are millions of people who do. According to Foodaid.org there are more than 795 million people in the world who do not have enough food to eat in order to enjoy a healthy life. If you do the math, that’s about 1 in 9 people global that deal with the issue of hunger. The majority of our global hunger involves most people that live in third world countries where there’s at least 12.9 percent of the population that is living in poverty. Global hunger is caused by poverty. When we think of hunger, we tend to think of food and how only poor people are the only ones hungry. Can you believe that there are millions of people who live with hunger who are malnourished because they simply can’t afford to buy food or purchase the supplies they need to grow enough food for their families? There are so many ways that poverty/world hunger can be controlled. We can start by working together to help when there’s a disaster caused by Mother Nature, when there’s crop issues and your local market closing due to other issues. If that’s not good enough we can also help by raising money, start food drives and educate countries how to grow food productively. I think it could start with one person to start then imagine how many people will follow to saves these lives. There are so many people around the world that are dying from starvation, if we raise awareness, show the accurate statistics and providing great ideas, we can end world
