World President Matt Reller 2030 A.D. I tried to keep it quiet. I really did. But my assistant read the strange note over my shoulder. “What does that mean, sir?” Michael asked. I turned around quickly, startled. “Michael! Out! Now!” I yelled. He scurried away. I kept thinking about the note. Why would someone want me to “Congregate the futile?” Why did I understand this strange language? Then, I became scared. This wasn’t a language on Earth. I knew this because, as the World President, I knew all languages. Then, I heard whispers outside my office door. I went to my door and opened it. When I woke up, I went straight to the bathroom connected to my room and took a shower. When I came out, there were fresh clothes set out on the bed, all black. There was also a note that read, “Ring the bell when you are ready.” I looked around, not having seen a bell before, but then I saw a musty old bell in the corner of my room, and I rang it. About fifteen seconds after I rang it, a woman dressed in black dress pants and a white shirt came in. “Follow me!” she chirped. I did. We walked through a couple hallways before again entering the large room we had eaten dinner in the night before. There was just as much food laid out, only this time it was breakfast food. I saw Ave and Olivia already eating, and I joined them. After about an hour of eating, Dave and Lacet entered the room. “Hello ladies and gentleman,” said Dave, “We have come to explain what is going on. First, you are going to go into the Lion’s Den, and try to survive,” he explained bluntly. We gasped. Lacet smacked his chest. Lacet continued, “I’m sorry, he’s become insensitive. You guys will live in the Lion’s Den for two days, and then you will come back out. It’s not as awful as it sounds.” We were staring at her, with our jaws dropped. I tried to speak, but no noise would come out. I tried again, still, nothing came out. I
