World War 1 was world’s first global war started in July 28, 1914 and lasted till November 11, 1918. “The Great War” was originated in Europe; involved 6 countries, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Serbia, France, Russia, and Great Britain. It started with an assassination and involved more countries. Many European countries made an agreement with each other and fought for four years. The war was characterised by stagnant trench warfare and massive loss of life in failed attacks. There were many causes of World War 1, and many countries were involved in the causes, but, Serbia was the major cause of World War 1.
