World War 2 Research Paper

World War2 was a global scale war. Allied Powers, such as Soviet Union, United States, United Kingdom, France, and Axis powers such as Germany, Italy, and Japan fought against each other;, more than 50 countries joined. This war was started in 1939 and ended in 1945. China entered World War 2 to defend against Japan. China also joined this war. In 1931, Manchurian Incident occurred. This is an armed conflict between Japan and China. Japan blasted South Manchuria Railway so this armed conflict started. Japanese Kwantung army occupied whole Manchuria during 5 month. After Manchurian Incident, Japan and China made the terms of the truce. However, Japan break the cease-fire. Marco Polo Bridge Incident occurred in July 7th 1937. This incident occurred when Japanese armies carrying out a military exercise during night time in Marco Polo Bridge where is in China. Chinese armies surprise attacked on Japanese armies who were carrying out a military exercise, they shot Japanese armies. Japanese armies accepted the challenge by necessity. Once, the fight stopped hostilities, but China did not give up and they increased the number of armies for fight, so Japanese armies wiped

This war also fought between Japan and China. Sino-Japanese war was the largest Asian war in 20th century. In a main situation, the war start with declaration of war, but both country which were Japan and China didn’t declared hostilities against each other. Japan attacked on China aggressively. Japan mounted a full-scale attack to Nanjing where was the capital city of the China in December 10th 1937 with two hundred thousands of armies. In December 13th, they occupied Nanjing. After that, Japan invaded in the order corresponding to Wuchang, Hankou, and Guangzhou. These cities were major cities of China at the time. Japan did not stop invading and harried China.
