DBQ: World War I And The Russian Revolution Why does Miranda have that particular vision of Dr. Hildesheim? Miranda has that type of particular vision of Dr. Hildesheim because in her dream she dreams about Dr. Hildesheim being an evil doctor. She dreams that he was holding an infant and poison which he then threw into the well and killed the baby. Miranda’s vision of Dr. Hildesheim is due to the fact that she dreamt about something evil about him. How does the doctor respond to what he hears Miranda say? The doctor, Dr. Hildesheim said “Hello, at least you take it out in shouting. You don’t try to get out of bed and go running around”. Dr. Hildesheim says this meaning, at least Miranda yells her dream out loud instead of sleepwalking/sleepwalking.
