Throughout the semester, I had the incredible opportunity to intern at Worldwide Clinical Trials, a CRO company, as a Marketing Intern. Worldwide Clinical Trials is a team of clinical research experts who want to make the world a healthier place. I was drawn to this internship immediately as it was related to the health field and I have gained exceptional digital marketing experience such as creating marketing content, digital campaigns, preparing social media posts, and maintaining trade shows, campaigns, and webinars. I have achieved many goals in my internship related to the digital marketing perspective. I worked throughout the company’s website, www.worldwide.com, to upload articles related to their therapeutic areas. For instance, I would research health news and choose articles related to neuroscience, inflammation, cardiology, and rare disease. I would then approve the posts, which would then be sent out to company’s social media platforms. I realize that I am extremely hardworking and I complete each task to the best of my ability. I remember my mentor, LuJean Smith, telling me that I was one of the best interns that the company has ever had. I complete my work to the best of my ability and I do not have to be asked more than once to complete a task. That made me feel extremely accomplished because I am utilizing skills I have gained through education and experience to further my profession. I also learned that I need to delegate more. When working on a project, I only like to work by myself and do not like others input. I feel as though if I do not do the project all by myself, it will not get done right. This is a downfall of mine, but future experience within the profession will help me overcome
