If you keep them out the streets they will stay out of trouble. The teenagers can work with cleaning up the city, work with elderly people or work Green Jobs that help them with their future for them to get jobs. Another reason gang violence could come to an end is to change the drug laws. Id say if marijuana was to be legalized, the violence over marijuana could be eliminated.
Many teens can be rude and messy, and this causes many adults to avoid teens and the places teens go. A local restaurant, Munchy’s, is trying to ban teens and this is angering many teens since the town doesn’t have very many food choices. Munchy’s and other businesses should have the right to ban teens. Reasons supporting the ban on teens are: teens are causing chaos in the restaurant, teens are scaring off adults, and teens being banned will help the town’s economy. In a small town peace and quiet is hard to find, and the people of the town should have a place to go to relax.
According to “Should Schools Start Later?” by Junior Scholastic, “A later start, say opponents, also interferes with some teens part time jobs” (Scholastic 21). If schools start later, it would interfere with the teens work schedule. This would then cause the teens to be early on their shift and mess up a lot of people, which could result in them getting fired from their job. If schools stayed to the usual time schedule it would not cause any mix ups or confusion.
In Perth Amboy children under the age of 18 are required to be home no later than 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and on Friday through Saturday 10:00 p.m. Teenagers these days think they are grown and can do whatever they will definitely not follow this rule. For example, when teenagers have parties it will definitely not end at 10 p.m., this enforcement will cause the children of this generation to pay no mind and it will not cause anything to happen. Now 71% of curfew violators had 1-10 criminal or traffic charges against them.(Curfew Expungements may).
In addition, they say that minors don't have the same rights that adults have. Why should minors need to stay out late when that is the time when adults are watching R-rated movies and things like that? On the other side of the ball, curfew does violate minors' rights. On the United States First Amendment it states that all citizens have the right to gather in groups
Well yes because they wouldn’t want to get in trouble by the police, and kids don’t stay out to late usually anyway. Also if it is the law, then teens and kids should follow the rules or else they will get in trouble by the cops. Kids are good anyways so they won’t even probably try and sneak out. However I don’t know about kids, but teens don’t care about the rules. They are rebelious and as long as they don’t get caught by the police, they won’t get in trouble.
Curfews could, and have, helped in many ways around the United states. From lowering crime, to helping parents, and even disciplining kids. From the article Are Public Curfews Fair? written by ReadWorks, we now have a myriad of information, and evidence on curfews. S.E. Hinton wrote an inspiring novel, The Outsiders, that received many accolades; in this novel we see that the characters could have benefitted from curfews. Suitably, The Outsiders will be an example of how curfews can and have helped different people.
We all know what a curfew is, but the thought of having one is even worse. Many teenagers believe that curfews are not important and also think that they do not need them. Although the government and some parents do believe in curfews. The main reason why they want curfews is because
Almost all adolescents break the law. To begin, in juvenile intake you and your parents or guardians will be interviewed and the child will be given an assessment. Furthermore, you may go to juvenile diversion where they will review your schoolwork and then give you a variety of options such as community service. Otherwise if it is a second offense or a more serious infraction you may be sent to court, where you could be sent to probation. Although many teens think that they can break the law without any fallout you should not break the law because you may have consequences, such as going to juvenile diversion, having a juvenile intake done, or being sent to probation.
Why should teenagers under the age of eighteen be allowed outside after eleven at night without parental observation? Although teenagers think they don’t need to have a curfew their parent think they should because some teenagers are having problems sleeping at night. For example they don’t sleep they just rather be on their phone or be playing their video games or just be social media. There should also put curfews on teenagers because sometimes they could also be out at night and it’s dangerous for a teenager to be out at night something could happen to them or they could do something bad like for example someone could be selling drugs at night out in the streets and what if they start to offer them some or what if they could get followed
Kids could just simply go to bed later if we had late start so in a way it would only ruin everything for nothing. It would get dark later, kids could have to get new jobs, parents could have to make a whole new schedule for nothing and students would not be getting the ‘health benifits’ that people say having late start will do. Late start obviously not a good idea for anyone in the community. It will only make things
Some might criticize their program enrollment. Considering the fact the program is used as an alternative of course most of the children are going to choose that option. With that being said i don’t feel the students will take the program seriously or truly engage with in it. Also children that are actually involved in a gang would most likely take the suspension days, so they can have more time to participate in gang
Early School Start Times Most adolescents don’t get nearly the correct amount of sleep and the early school start times make it worse. Having school start later would have a great impact on teens’ overall health. Some people may say that teens should just go to sleep earlier, but its not that easy. Early school start times should be changed because they are dangerous, inconvenient, and it negatively affects body growth.
Whenever someone talks about teen curfews, or curfews in general, most would agree that they would be helpful and bost the community in the best way possible; but ignore all of the
Curfews Curfews are regulations that require people to remain indoors between specified hours, specifically at night. Many people believe that curfews aren't very effective for a teenage kid, and they think that curfews can make teenagers sneak out behind their parent’s back and cause them to be in trouble. However, Curfews should be taken very seriously and they should be imposed by parents on their teenage children. Curfews are very important; they keep teenagers out of trouble and teaches them responsibility and respect. Parents usually set a curfew for their teenage children, in order to keep them safe and protected
