Wreck-It-Ralph is a Disney movie that was released in 2012. This is a movie that it still very popular today, it is about these video game characters that “come to life” when the arcade closes. Ralph the one that wrecks things is tired of being the bad guy so to prove to his fellow game characters he has to go out and get a medal showing he’s a good guy. He causes a lot of trouble in other games and at the end of the movie he realizes that being bad isn't such a bad thing. There’s one quote throughout the whole movie that gives us an underlying meaning to the story. “I’m bad and that’s good. I will never be good and that’s not bad. They want to be like everyone else, they feel the need to change just because they don’t want to feel different. This movie gives us the example of not wanting to change and finding the greatness in yourself. Even though you think you’re bad at something you might not be bad at all, someone else might think that you are better than them.
The other main character that Ralph comes across in the game, “Sugar Rush” is called Vanellope von Schweetz. She is a glitch and is outcasted in her own game but is still this happy little girl that wants to be a racer like the rest of the game characters. She is bullied by the other character but still insists on making friends with them. This could show the viewers that she is strong and whoever is bullied should still have the positive outlook like she does.
An easy identifiable moral to this movie is that you shouldn’t let people define who you are. Ralph has done this his whole life, always wrecking. For once he decides to make a change and wants to be the good guy even though people tell him he’s bad he can’t be good. He proves them wrong and goes out and gets a gold medal but he realizes that he made a
