The Wright Brothers were born in the late 1800s, and that time period was known as the 2nd Industrial Revolution. The late 1700s was the beginning of the first Industrial Revolution. The 2nd Industrial Revolution was when people started to use new energy sources and use it in different ways. New inventions that increased production ; these inventions included that included the steam engine and the Spinning Jenny. Factories started to use machines to increase production; the machines took over the work of hands.
