Maggie knelt down to pick up her youngest child, Betty, from her crib where she had been laying. When she looked into Betty’s eyes it brought back memories of her John Thomas. A bang in the hallway shook Maggie from her daydream. She scooped up Betty and marched out the door into the hall. She smiled to herself as she watched John Thomas walk through the door carrying Roy and William in his arms. The boys resembled their father in many ways.
