WHY YPC? FOR MOST PARTICIPANTS, CLASSICAL MUSIC IS A PASSION THEY WANT TO PASS-ALONG TO THEIR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. Childhood exposure to classical music lessons and/or attendance to an NYPHIL concert were the most likely drivers of present interest, indicating more impactful crossover marketing between the adult & children’s programs could yield results. All claimed that it was easy to fit A YPC concert into their busy schedules, as they are only 4 concerts in a year. Often, they are choosing the concerts above other cultural activities as they feel YPC is an invaluable experience for the child individually, and the family as a whole.

I noticed the children's concert opportunities in the promotional material (specifically the yearly calendar). After having a child we attended a very, very young people's concert when my daughter was 3 years old and then when she was age appropriate switched over to the young people's concerts.- Kristen BLOG
