Personal Statement
“Ya nos vamos,” would be the words that would make me sad. At the age of 8 it would make any kid sad if they had to leave the park. The park was where I let all my energy out and had the time of my life. Running up and down the playground, laughing uncontrollably, and just enjoying life.
Time passes and I'm 15 years old now. Remembering how much fun the park was , I decided to go and visit the park. Getting there I thought I would be happy and enjoy it seeing it but I was shocked and devastated on seeing how bad it had turned. Trash everywhere, the water filled with pollution, the playground trashed, no sign of happiness. It was really hard to see what they had left the park turn out to be.

I am currently working through this obstacle in life by first getting my education completed, which is graduating from high school and then then go to college. This challenge has changed many aspects in my life, for example in school and also with my friends. An example of this change is trying to get a job. In school mostly all my friends are employed. This challenge is very significant to me in particular because being the person who has this type of problems has set me apart from other people. This challenge is very emotional even if others might not find this like an emotional problem, but to me it is because I have goals that sometimes I think about and it would be difficult for me to reach. Being an undocumented immigrant means that you will have to work extra hard for what you want in life because you're not like everyone else, who have everything in front and they don't take advantage of
