The money that was needed to make the bomb was money sent from home in which the country Yousef resided in. The cost to make the bomb was expensive again over the reason that they were making a homemade explosive device. Yousef was limited on money so he limited the size of the bomb unfortunately on his side of the mission. If more money would have been sent to Yousef then the bomb would have most likely been much more larger and moderate in explosive objects accepting that the plan would have most likely without a doubt succeeded. He was able to work on the bomb in a garage with his allies. The garage allowed Yousef to make the 1500 hundred pound bomb without anyone knowing about his plan. Without this hideout Yousef would not have been able to build the bomb as it would attract attention for its suspicious activity. His plan would have been revealed and then neither of allies would be able to finish the bomb by themselves. Without Yousef the investment into the bomb would have potentially been cut off and production of the bomb would be stopped. The garage played a huge role for Yousef and his allies as they were able to work on the bomb without being caught. Working in an enclosed area also meant that less people would recognize Yousef and his men. This allowed them to be more anonymous when it was time for the bomb to detonate. No one would assume it was them and no one could confirm how they looked like. Also the smell of the chemicals that they were using was not able to be distinguished by any civilians since most of the odor would stay inside of the garage. Without attracting attention to themselves, civilians were not suspicious about anything in the garage, resulting in the plan going well hidden for them. If they would have drawn any attention, then people could have called the police and the plan would have been given away and we would not have seen the bombing that occurred in 1993 at the World Trade Center.
