The Walking Dead and Z-nation are two very prominent hits shows, if not the only two within the zombie apocalypse genre subcategory. As a result, causing viewers to create fan-based rivalries because of Great comparison amongst these two hit shows. Both TV programs being in a Zombie Apocalypse with the constant traveling, romantic love triangles, depictions of mental illnesses, gangs, villains, hefty violence, and character conflicts. However, I wonder if viewers noticed the several differences between both shows? The understanding I know everyone’s notices the basic differences like gender, characters, and channel. While Z Nation's plot is more structured, the walking dead’s plot is a slowly revealing television series story about a viral Zombie epidemic, and survival of the fittest. The walking dead and Z nation has closely related themes and majorly significant differences in their story. Another difference is The Walking Dead has amazing graphics versus Z Nation has poorly done graphics. The walking dead’s depictions of rotting hanging flesh, blood, and guts are so realistic. The hacking of the zombies is everything I would visualize zombie gruesome deaths to be versus Z-nations play-dough corpuscle. Z nations seem to have very low budgeted graphics and less video of viewers discretion scenes. The walking dead has more pop outs and gives a reason for viewers to go, “Gnarly, that’s cool”. The lack of creative zombies in the walking dead could never give me a fright, maybe just a squint from the gruesomeness.
