Zodiac Killer Shots were fired in the San Francisco Bay Area. There is another killer on the loose. Except this time it is different. The Zodiac Killer case has been unsolved for fifty-five years now. With claims of killing thirty-seven people, he remains a mystery to the world. Sending secret codes and messages to the media from December 1968 to October 1969. He wanted the world to fear him, to know who he was. The Zodiac Killer was one of the most famous serial killers because he would terrorize the media, who and how he killed, and the theories surrounding the case. He’s gone unknown for years now. Still withholding the fear of his comeback, just like in 1969 when he had made San Francisco fear him. David Arthur Faraday and Betty Lou Jensen were seventeen and sixteen when they were murdered. They were found on a gravel road near Lake Herman Road in Benicia. Both were shot and killed. Jensen with seven gunshot wounds and Faraday with one to the head. They both were known to be good kids in search of teenage love, however their time together had been cut short by The Zodiac Killer. Similarly, a few short months later two more people had been killed on the Fourth of July, “on July 4, 1969, friends Michael Renault Mageau, 19, and popular Vallejo waitress Darlene Ferrin, 22, were heinously shot while sitting in Ferrin’s car” (Mahato). One of the main ways the Zodiac Killer would harm his victims was through gunshots. He would chase and shoot them down. As said in one of his messages, he believed it to be a game or a hunt.
