The synopsis of this film is that it starts with a musical scene party, were we see this group of Pachucos dancing with their lady’s, and we see this particular character Edward James Olmos the “Pachuco” he is singing and dancing with the other ones. This film create a different filling on how we can catch the story telling by their musical scenes, in that moment we can see El pachuco and the guys dancing and singing showing a interesting twist of happiness on the film. The movie it reveals a great strong story between the fiction of El Pachuco and the true event of the Zoot Suit Riot and the Sleepy Lagoon murder case. On the other hand I can say it didn’t show any weak point or weaknesses, based on the fact that it was a great movie, were it shows strong story outline, camera work, good transition between scenes, good musical connection with the characters and the story. For this reason I think it was a great film, Zoot Suit it shows a connection to be part a Chicano film, because this film it illustrate a variation of connection between of Pachucos era and the Mexican American people in the time of World War II. One of the foundations that help to identify a Chicano’s film on Zoot Suit they are “The Demystification of film” which refer to the type of expression of the character on the film based on what really happen in that time for example on the Zoot Suit riot.
