Explain your answer.I think the visual arts are still as useful to convey messages to the public as they were in the 18th and 19th centuries. This is because, in my opinion, the visual arts are still relevant now, even if they function somewhat differently than they did in the eras of the 18th and 19thcenturies. The utilization of graffiti and street art is an illustration of the continued efficacy ofthe visual arts in communicating ideas. In recent years, street art has risen to prominence as a potent form of artistic expression that may deliver important political and social messages to the general public. Street artists like Banksy have been able to reach an international audienceand start conversations outside of the art world by focusing on social concerns such as inequalities, economics, and war through their work (Vidar, 2023).In addition, the increasing number of smartphones and other electronic devices has opened up new channels for artists to promote their work and interact with their audience. Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook all have become places where artists can exhibit their work, communicate with one another, and speak out about topics they care about. Virtual galleries and online exhibitions have increased the number of people who can experience art, regardless of their location (Talladay, 2022). The ability of visual narratives in movies, animation, and comic books has maintained the ability to fascinate and interest readers and viewers. These visual art forms are powerful means of communication because of their capacity to tell compelling stories and move audiences emotionally (Talladay, 2022).To conclude, the visual arts continue to be an effective means of communication, despite the fact that their methods and mediums have developed over time. Digital advancements have not diminished visual art's ability to move people emotionally and intellectually. Artists have discovered novel approaches to conveying messages and establishing worldwide connections via street art, multimedia, and narrative art. Therefore, it may be claimed that artistic endeavors are extremely valuable in modern society for getting ideas over to the general population.ReferencesTalladay, P. (2022).
