-Every work group has it's own personality. Discuss how a group's personality influences its ability to be productive.A group's work personality influences its ability to be productive 100 percent of the time. The group’s personality can influence the interactions of the team and how they communicate and collaborate. A group with a lot of different personalities tends to work better because there are multiple areas the team can use a particular personality. Although if there is too much it can also cause a conflict. For example, people who are very particular in details and making sure it is perfect would not stand for someone who takes what is readily available and relies on that alone. ·Why is it important for Crawford to identify the issues that distract from group cohesiveness? It is important for Crawford to identify the issues that distract the group from cohesiveness because it will affect their work. The employees can become unhappy at work and even become stressed because it can cause more pressure on them. If a member of the team is not doing their part, it will eventually fall on someone else and it will cause an unfair work environment that can cause problems. ·What are the issues in this case? The issue in this case is that the other members of the team are upset about the pace of Kaylee’s work. They are upset because she is taking her sweet time and making clients wait and they are not happy about that. Kaylee will finish a previous project before contacting the current client who was supposed to have an appointment. More than one of the team members has also commented in Kaylee’s weight being an issue in the scenario.·If you were Crawford, what would you do? Why?If I were Crawford I would have a discussion with everyone firstly about commenting on someone’s weight as it is unprofessional and rude to do so. I would then pull Kaylee aside and have a conversation with her and express the concerns the team is having. I would try to figure out the reasons why she is preforming slowly and from their set up certain training if it is needed. If Kaylee cannot keep up with the work pace and she has completed all required training I would see if there is another position in the company that is open that may be in her work pace or let her go as it is causing issues withcurrent clients.
