B.Who in here has seen The Terminator. a.Ok so for those of you who haven’t, it’s about a hyper-intelligent AI that gains control of the world and is determined to exterminate humanity.b.Watched about 10 years ago and the image of ai being bad stuck with me c.So naturally, when I started learning about AI a couple of years ago but the more I look into it, the more I think this certain path of technology will be beneficial in the long runC.After all, AI has been around for almost 70 years and nothing horribly wrong has happened, yet. https://sitn.hms.harvard.edu/flash/2017/history-artificial-intelligence/D.In this speech I will be explaining how AI works, categories of AI, and real world applications.II.Body: A.AI is a tool that can be used to perform tasks that would normally require human intelligence. 1.Works by using machine learninga.According to the Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Platform, machine learning is “the ability of computers to learn from data without being explicitly programmed.” (Microsoft Azure, n.d.). A way to enable computers to learn, adapt, and improve without human intervention.b.Steps of machine learning as described in the article Frameworks for Approaching the Machine Learning Process by Matthew Mayo in 2018:i.Data collection and preparation:
