The evidence gathered during the investigation supports the belief thatadditional evidence related to the assault is located at a specific address.On July 6, 2024, an aggravated assault occurred at 567 Elm Street, South Salt Lake.The victim, Maria Hernandez, reported that she was attacked by an acquaintance,Carlos Ramirez. Ms. Hernandez suffered a broken wrist and facial injuries during theassault.●Witness Interviews:We interviewed two eyewitnesses, Jessica Martinez and Luis Morales, who observedthe suspect, Carlos Ramirez, assaulting Ms. Hernandez. Both witnesses providedconsistent statements describing the assailant’s aggressive behavior and distinctivetattoo on his left forearm.●Forensic Evidence:At the crime scene, we collected blood samples from the hallway floor where the assaultoccurred. DNA analysis confirmed that the blood matches the victim’s DNA profile,indicating it was shed during the attack.●Surveillance Footage:
Security cameras in the apartment building captured footage showing Carlos Ramirezentering and leaving the building around the time of the assault.
