Diagnostic Impressions - DSM–5-TR DiagnosisIt is critical to diagnose ethically and responsibly. We must consider all elements presented about the client paying close attention to cultural components in understanding of the problem and in rendering a diagnosis. With this in mind, address each of the following elements: DSM–5-TR diagnosis (use ICD-10 code, name of the disorder, and all specifiers)oIt is important that you state which diagnostic criteria aligns with which behaviors and, in some cases, the length of time of the behavior(s). See DSM-5-TR specifics for the disorders you are considering. Provide relevant Z codesRational for Diagnostic ImpressionsDiagnosing is an important responsibility and counselors should practice caution when rendering diagnosis. As such, it is critical that we provide support for the diagnosis that we render to our clients.
