0% detected as AIThe percentage indicates the combined amount of likely AI-generated text as well as likely AI-generated text that was also likely AI-paraphrased.Caution: Review required. It is essential to understand the limitations of AI detection before making decisions about a student’s work. We encourage you to learn more about Turnitin’s AI detection capabilities before using the tool.Detection Groups1AI-generated only0%Likely AI-generated text from a large-language model.2AI-generated text that was AI-paraphrased0%Likely AI-generated text that was likely revised using an AI-paraphrase tool or word spinner.DisclaimerOur AI writing assessment is designed to help educators identify text that might be prepared by a generative AI tool. Our AI writing assessment may not always be accurate (it may misidentify writing that is likely AI generated as AI generated and AI paraphrased or likely AI generated and AI paraphrased writing as only AI generated) so it should not be used as the sole basis for adverse actions against a student. It takes further scrutiny and human judgment in conjunction with an organization's application of its specific academic policies to determine whether any academic misconduct has occurred.Frequently Asked QuestionsHow should I interpret Turnitin's AI writing percentage and false positives? The percentage shown in the AI writing report is the amount of qualifying text within the submission that Turnitin’s AI writing detection model determines was either likely AI-generated text from a large-language model or likely AI-generated text that was likely revised using an AI-paraphrase tool or word spinner.False positives (incorrectly flagging human-written text as AI-generated) are a possibility in AI models.AI detection scores under 20%, which we do not surface in new reports, have a higher likelihood of false positives. To reduce the likelihood of misinterpretation, no score or highlights are attributed and are indicated with an asterisk in the report (*%).The AI writing percentage should not be the sole basis to determine whether misconduct has occurred. The reviewer/instructor should use the percentage as a means to start a formative conversation with their student and/or use it to examine the submitted assignment in accordance with their school's policies. What does 'qualifying text' mean? Our model only processes qualifying text in the form of long-form writing. Long-form writing means individual sentences contained in paragraphs that make up a longer piece of written work, such as an essay, a dissertation, or an article, etc. Qualifying text that has been determined to be likely AI-generated will be highlighted in cyan in the submission, and likely AI-generated and then likely AI-paraphrased will be highlighted purple.Non-qualifying text, such as bullet points, annotated bibliographies, etc., will not be processed and can create disparity between the submission highlights and the percentage shown.Page 2 of 7 - AI Writing OverviewSubmission ID trn:oid:::1:3097367612Page 2 of 7 - AI Writing OverviewSubmission ID trn:oid:::1:3097367612

5-3 Milestone Three: Project Three Family violence and trauma are some of the most influential elements in the development of a child. These define the setting that the child develops in, thus affecting all other aspects of development, such as the social life of the child and the cognitive abilities of the child. Children who witness or experience emotional, physical, or sexual abuse are more likely to have health problems later in life. These children may be unable to make social contacts or function properly and efficiently in society. They are also susceptible to various mental health complications, including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety. Such children may also be vulnerable to other health complications like obesity, diabetes, coronary disease, and poor self-esteem, among other health complications, during adulthood. FamilyThe family is part and parcel of a child's development; it is the first environment children encounter. It, therefore, means the manner in which a family is organized impacts a child's development. Family modulates a child's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development (Pem, 2015). Families help children achieve a positive self-concept, manage stressful situations, and deal well with letdowns. Both parents and caregivers play a critical role in the management of a child's emotions. They both provide love and respect to the children, which will affect their emotional development. Families provide social and cultural knowledge to children. They guide children on what is socially and culturally acceptable. They also give spiritual guidance to the children on how they should grow. Children grow and develop based on the values and instructions of the society. This promotes the development of good relationships with friends and teachers and becoming a helpful member of society. The family provides children's basic needs, such as shelter, food, and proper nurturing. Creating family time creates a sense of safety and belonging for the children. This also boosts their confidence, connects with their families, and removes the feeling of loneliness or abandonment. The characteristics of a family affect child development. These include the parenting styles that directly impact the social and emotional growth of the child. Children born in a family where parents or guardians are sensitive, responsive, and attentive are likelier to show better traits in adulthood than those without guidance. Risk FactorsThe child exposes the child to undesirable risk factors that will lower development and hinder successful development into adulthood. One major short-term risk factor concerning the negative effect on the developmental influence of the child is when they are subjected to physical abuse. Exposing the child to domestic violent acts drastically affects the positive status of the physical health and mental health of a child. Exposure to the child about home violence will increase cognition malfunction and developmental challenges (Pem, 2015). View. The effects of physical abuse may impinge on the child's gaining a proper social life in adulthood. Verbal abuse is a long-term risk factor that may also hinder proper child development. Such a victim could later suffer from low self-esteem in adulthood due to the negative self-identity created by other people. However, verbal abuse may leave deep scars on the child and may affect their future life and proper development in social life and other facets of human coexistence. This will tend to hinder social cohesion and adequate integration of the child into society when such a child attains the age of adulthood. Verbal abuse is similarly as dangerous to children as physical abuse. This may induce one into inflicting injury upon oneself and having other psychological problems. The child is severely affected by sexual abuse. It has long-term emotional effects that may result in depression, self-harm, and self-hate (Lo Iacono et al.,2021). There are various psychological and behavioral effects on children who have been sexually abused. These may be mild or severe but have devastating effects on the overall growth and development of the child. These psychological health complications are both short-term and long-term. Sexually abused children also find it difficult to form relationships in adulthood. Sexual abuse, therefore, inhibits proper social life and causes loss of trust by the child in adult GE. ViolenceA culture of violence begets a perception that it is a regular activity and should be upheld. Violence negatively impacts the child; it leads to developmental trauma and health problems such as obesity and heart disease. It also leads to behavioral issues such as aggressiveness and reduced social contact. A violent-filled environment leads to low academic performance and also interpersonal problems for the child. TraumaTrauma impairs the development of a child. Trauma leads to an inability to think clearly and cognitively (Downey & Crummy, 2022). It also leads to a challenge in employing thinking and problem-solving skills for better development. Trauma is both short-term and long-term. In Conclusion, Child abuse is detrimental to the development of a child; it brings several problems and challenges to the child, such as complications in psychological health. Child abuse is the foundation for life problems that are evident even in adults. Such practices as sexual, physical, and verbal abuse greatly implicate child development and result in the continuity of social ills.
