Youwill be using Tophat to take the exams. I will provide a detailed explanation about the examination process during the first lecture provided on August 27, 2024 .The exams will be based on information from the textbook, and the lectures. The exams are multiple choice. In each exam there will be 75 questions with each question worth 3points.The quiz on the introduction will contain 25 questions, each worth 4 points. You will be provided study guides for the quiz and the exams.XI.EXAM MAKE-UP POLICYExams One Through Four – No more than onemake-up exam will be allowed. You must notify the instructor by the day of the exam, prior to the exam, if you are going to miss the examand would like an opportunity to take a make-up exam. You will need to provide a reason for themake-up examand receive approval from the instructor. The nature of the make-up exam will be at the discretion of the instructor and may consist of an essay exam. Final Exam - No make-up exam will be given.XIII. Top HatWe will be using the Top Hat (www.tophat.com) classroom response system in class, to administer the Quiz and the 4 exams. You will be able to submit answers to quiz and exam questions using Tophat using Apple or Android smartphones and tablets, laptops, or through text message.3
