I chose this topic because I think having quality leaders allows an organization to minimize turnover and promote employees from within which in turn allows your organiziation to be successful. I wholeheartedly believe that if you take care of your people, they will take careof you. I cannot possibly do the job of all my employees, nor am I the subject matter expert. However, if I know who my subject matter experts are I can accomplish anything. My paper will explore a strategic Human Resource plan for talent acquisition and retention as a multidimensional effort aimed at stabilizing the organization's human resources. The plan seeks to carefully address the intricacies associated with talent acquisition to create an enviable workforce that will assist the company in meeting its present goals and shape it toward meeting even more demanding requirements. Therefore, Walmart attempts to create a niche for itself as a prospective employer in the highly competitive retail market, and it all depends on the high-quality workforce. The plan demonstrates Walmart's readiness to transform and change as the retail industry, enabling it to stand out by setting trends and providing direction to other retailers.
