Analytical Techniques in Heritage Crime Coursework AssignmentFor this module you will produce a 3000 word (+1%) written report (MS word) that critically evaluates the nature of and threats to a Heritage asset (national or international) of your choice. You will be expected to research any relevant legislation. You should critically evaluate the use of scientific analytical techniques used in the identification, protection, and management of the heritage, and address any relevant ethical considerations. You will be required to use search engines and instrumentation software to visualise your findings using figures or tables as appropriate. In your report, you should introduce the heritage asset, explain why it was selected and evaluate the threats to the asset. You will need to address the legislation used to protect the heritage; address the management of the asset, and the scientific approach, including instrumentation, used to address the impact of the threat. Your report should include the following sections: Title Page Abstract Introduction Main body sectionsrelevant to the chosen topic (choose suitable headings) Discussion Conclusion References Page Numbers Step 1: read and review journalsUse the journals on BBU as a starter, then use scopus or similar from the library links to research and review supporting journals. Use the weblinks to ensure you read around the subject areas. Step 2: FormatThe format and style of the report should conform to instructions which are based on those published by the journal Science and Justice; Forensic Science International, etc.
