Viridis KPIs1.Number of accidents or incidents reported: This is an important health and safety KPI. Every company or organisation should measure the number of reported incidents and should be used as a high-level benchmark at all times. In some countries, this KPI is required by law and results can be obtained upon request. Be sure to keep an eye on the number of events reported when a new process is implemented, new machinery or any changes enter the workplace.2.Equipment breakdown: Equipment breakdown is sometimes overlooked as a key indicator of a health and safety incident. If the equipmentbreaks regularly: not only it will reduce production capacity it can also serve as a clear indicator of potential danger due to the state of the equipment.3.Employee training: It is very important for the companies. Whether it's basic health and safety in the workplace or heavy equipment safety training. Ensuring that employees are aware of the company's procedures and health and safety policies is essential to building a culture of safety. Every company should track the training records of every employee. Not only for compliance reasons but also to demonstrate a proactive approach to achieving your overall health and safety objectives. Tracking employee records also highlights the need for retraining throughout the year that may be required, especially if the policy is updated.4.Average overtime hours per employee: The average number of overtime hours per employee is a good KPI to measure time outside of their regular work hours. The idea behind this measurement is: if the company succeeds in managing its workload by keeping it low, the chance of fatigue in the workplace is reduced. This results in fewer incidents occurring. This KPI is not always suitable for every industrial workplace. Therefore, they need to be carefully evaluated to suit your needs.
