2Course SPE 527 - Behavior Analytic AssessmentArtifact: Assessment Project: VB-MAPP AssignmentTask List 5) Item: F-4, Conducting Assessments of Relevant Skill Strengths and DeficitsBACB Task List 5 focuses on Behavior Assessment and its various facets within AppliedBehavior Analysis (ABA). In the course SPE 527 - Behavior Analytic Assessment, I had the responsibility to create an artifact Assessment Project: VB-MAPP Assignment in Module 4. The project involved providing a detailed summary of a real-world assessment of a client who was undergoing ABA services. The assessment used the VB-MAPP assessment tool, designed by Mark L. Sandburg. The outcomes of the assessment served as a foundation for crafting an individualized behavior intervention plan based on the specific skills and deficits identified through the assessment results. The use of the VB-MAPP assessment tool also aligned with BACB F-4, which pertains to conducting assessments of relevant skill strengths and deficits.Course SPE 560 - Behavior Change Procedures: Implementing InterventionsArtifact: Behavior Change Project - Intervention Selection and ProtocolTask List 5) Item: F-9, which involves the interpretation of functional assessment dataFurthermore, another artifact that correlated to Task List Area F was the course SPE 560 - Behavior Change Procedures: Implementing Interventions. Particularly, during Module 4 of thecourse, I completed the behavior change project, Intervention Selection and Protocol where the intervention I selected was informed by the results of a Functional Assessment. This strategic approach was aimed at developing procedures and protocols that could effectively target and

3decrease specific behavior problems while addressing the function of that behavior. The artifact concluded that extinction was selected as an additional intervention. This was because the Functional Assessment was performed to assess and determine the functions of the client’s problem behavior to access items and attention. Based on my interpretations of Functional Assessment results and data, the artifact relates to BACB F-9, which involves the interpretation of functional assessment data. This demonstrates a comprehensive engagement with behavior assessment and intervention procedures within the framework of ABA.
