Watching the 3 videos, I realized there are things that I can take away from each not only to help in my current health care role but can be implemented in my future healthcare career as well. To start with, knowing that being a leader isn’t only about teaching but also understanding individuals on your team as everyone is different. To be able to understand everyone’s personality as a leader it’s important to get an understanding of the psychology of personalities. For example, as a leader sometimes constructivecriticism is needed to help a team member become better however the way that one person takes constructive criticism may be different then the way the other person takes it. Understanding the team personalities and differentways to deliver constructive criticism will make someone an effective leader. When working on a team it’s best to hear and implement everyone’s side of things towards whatever project or goal the team is working on so that no one feels left out, by doing so everyone feels valued and you build trust within the team. Lastly, collaborating to work with others is a crucial part in developing your career. A team is more effective and has better outcomes together as opposed to working individually.
