Innovation Bridge- Slough House Training Ltd[Please note that this is simulated data, based on real business problems]Slough House Training Ltd have approached your consultancy with abusiness problem and requested that a reasoned recommendation be presented to them in the form of a report.Slough House Training Ltd were launched in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic and designed to be a digital-first remote training provider. They made small loss in year one but have established a strong core business and are projecting over £400K profit this financial year. They currently employ 6 full-time members of staff with a further 8 qualified trainers working on a short-term contract basis when needed. They offer a range of short (1-5 day) training programs, aimed primarily at SMEs, which include courses in effective communication and collaboration, emotional intelligence within the workplace and other related programs. However, they have noticed that their core business is no longer experiencing growth and is actually contracting slightly, which they believe is connected to the “back to the office” drive over the last 12 months that many companies have engaged in.The consultancy is to help them consider the two options for company growth and decide which one is better for them. The two options are below.1.An introduction of a suite of remote-working based digital skillstraining courses to complement the existing offers, with the required hiring of additional skilled trainers.2.A transition to in-person training courses using hired facilities, and focusing on the South-East of England, in anticipation of a possible reduction in demand for remote working trainingYou are required to research the market and the two options above and produce a report which includes market/industry analysis using relevant business models/tools/frameworks as well as indication of alikely recommendation.
