Dentons,Toronto CommunityHousing, Ottawa)6.Hiring three clinicians(where two are studentplacements), two socialworkers, and eight1 - 5,June & July 20216 - 15,August &September 2021Program Coordinator-Overviewing of the entireprogram, in charge ofrecruiting and managingvolunteers. The programcoordinator would also beresponsible for connectingwith other organizations toprovide services that survivorsmay needClinicians-1 licensed clinician& 2 practicum studentclinicians (Master ofPsychology).Reintegration includes thecreation of uniquetrauma-informed training andindividualized therapy,integrated with individualizedtreatment plans.Attendance of participantsin one-on-one counsellingsessions, family counsellingsessions, and groupsessions.Participants’ feedback fromthe surveys and check-ins,positive impacts/changesthat participants havenoticed within themselves.Clinician & Counsellor’sobservation notes andprogress through thetreatment plan that wascreated prior to thesessions.Better relationshipsDropouts - In case ofparticipants drop out, wewould check-in/ reach outto them to know the reasonfor discontinuation andadapt accordingly.Poor Connection in Zoom,internet connectivity.Volunteers would beinformed by clinicians andcounsellors in case of apoor connection in zoomduring sessions. Volunteerswould then resend adifferent link (on a differentplatform - Teams) forparticipants to join in. Incase of faulty technologicalBi-weekly meetings onThursdays, with all staff,would be conducted.This meeting wouldinclude a check-in,updates on differentgroups and otheradditionalhelp/resources thatclinicians/ counsellorsmight be in need of.Updates from partneragencies on referredparticipants.Clinicians/counsellorswould have to submitweekly logs to the

Due to thecurrent situation,registration will beconducted virtuallythrough our website.This would be on a firstCounsellors-2 RegisteredSocial WorkersSocial workers will be leadingthe family counsellingsessions.Survivors-8 survivorsWorking in pairs to facilitatethe group sessions. Promotinga safe environment for opendialogue between theparticipants and sharing ofexperiences.Volunteers-10 VolunteersVolunteers will be helping withset-up and refreshmentsdistribution at our physicalspace, as well as in-takesurveys, compiling data ofsurveys, and social mediamarketing. Setting up of zoomlinks, creating breakout roomfor the meeting, otheradministrative help ( sendingout emails, etc). They wouldalso be tapped on to help theprogram coordinator withproviding referrals forsurvivors who are in need.observed betweenparticipants and their familymembers.devices, participants willemail our staff and will beinstructed to attain a newiPad, etc (which we will beattaining from Best Buy)In case of urgent/medicalleaves byclinicians/counsellors/survivors, the programcoordinator would assess ifthe session can becontinued, and if not, thesession will be rescheduledto the next day.program coordinator(without breachingconfidentiality).Clinicians andcounsellors willcommunicate with eachother to discuss theclient and family’sreintegration plans(without the breach ofconfidentiality).On a monthly basis,program coordinatorswill have to signvolunteers' timesheets,to keep track of theirhours.There will also be amonthly reflectionsurvey that volunteers &placement studentshave to complete.

OnWednesdays, there willbe group sessionsbetween survivors andparticipants, in order tobuild rapport andinterpersonalrelationships with oneanother.19.Halfway through theprogram, we will have acheck-in in the groupsession, whereparticipants will discusswhat can be done tobetter improve the prog.We can also administeran anonymous survey ifparticipants are notcomfortable sharing outloud.Program End:20.The final group sessionwill be a celebratoryevent to celebrate thesuccessful completionof Reunify. Participantswill be awarded acertification ofcompletion. There willalso be an22,March-August 2022.
