Many industry insiders started with the CompTIA A+, and that led them to higher-paying, more complex jobs in both IT and cybersecurity.Many large corporations such as Apple, Cisco, Microsoft, and others recognize the value of the CompTIA A+ certification. For those of you in the military or working for the US Department of Defense, the credential is recognized under Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 1 of the DoD 8140/8570 IA Workforce baseline certifications. Why or why not?Option 1:As CompTIA A+ certification holder most of the job postings which I come across while searching inindeed.com are of entry-level IT positions. Job opportunities include roles such as technical supportspecialist, desktop support technician, and help desk analyst, and the responsibilities includetroubleshooting common computer, networking, and access issues and resolving technical issues,assisting users with computer problems, and maintaining computer systems and networks.The salary for CompTIA A+ certificate holders especially the entry-level are below my expectations butfactors such as location, years of experience, and specific job roles has some contribution on the salaryrange. What surprised me from the jobs opening is that the roles and responsibilities outlined in the jobsdescriptions are very demanding but the remuneration are not satisfying , on my part I am not temted torelocate for these positions .The positive thing the job outlook for CompTIA A+ certificate holders ispromising, as the demand for skilled IT professionals continues to grow. Overall, as an entry level it will open a range of job opportunities in the IT field and provide a solidfoundational experience for a successful career in information technology especially for the cybersecurity.
