Helping others try and get back to there daily life2.How many hours do you work in a typical week? – 40 hours3.Can you tell me about your background, including education and experience? - I did a fast track program at a local college in VA 4.What kind of people do you work with? Who do you serve? Who are your colleagues? I am very close with all my colleagues they are all close to my age and for more athletes we all are part of our sports rehab program helping young athletes recover from injure5.Why are you interested in this particular field? - helping others6.What do you enjoy most about your job? – getting to help people 7.What is the most challenging part of your job? – Talking and communicating with parents8.What skills, such as communication and problem-solving, are most important in your field? Can you describe a situation in which you used these skills? – I deal with lots of parents and being able to communicate with them and understand how their child might be feeling and able to provide a comfortable place where people can tell me their problems9.Can you describe how you handled a challenging situation you had in your job? – No matter the situation I think it is very important to stay calm and level headed while getting to the root of the problem and make the person feel like they understand what they’re going through 10.Can you describe your relationship with your patients or clients? – I deal with a lot of younger people because I focus on the sports side of PT which in my mind they are much easier to work with11.If I were interested in pursuing your career, what classes do you think I should be taking in high school? What extracurricular activities should I pursue? – I did a fast-track program through high school and college to be able to get my degree faster, and I would recommend that to anyone trying to enter this line of work12.What other healthcare professionals do you work with? – I work out of a physical therapy facility, so I would work with other therapists
